About this provider: I have been involved in mental health and substance use services for the past 30 years in various settings such as residential treatment center, correctional setting, county behavioral health, community crisis intervention, Treatment Courts (both County and Tribal), tribal behavioral health services and I am now at Krohn Clinic. I have been practicing counseling since 2017 after completing my graduate program at Viterbo University. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral therapy, solution focused, strength based therapy, Adlerian therapy, and person centered therapy approaches with my clients, just to name a few. I have additional training and experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Eye Motion Desensitization Regulation (EMDR) therapy strategies. I am trained to provider Prime for Life for substance abuse education. My experience in the many different areas of service delivery have provided me the opportunity to work with many different treatment needs within our community. I have worked with clients struggling with trauma, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, depression, personality disorders, and a multitude of other diagnosis. I strive to reduce the impact mental health and substance use has on our community and help people become stronger to combat these challenges.
