Krohn Clinic has a full service clinical laboratory, located in beautiful Black River Falls, WI.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate for this role will perform and monitor a full range of laboratory testing and analysis. Assumes responsibility for problem resolution, quality control, and required equipment maintenance with minimal supervision.
Their main responsibility is to perform established tests and procedures and interpret and report results as accurately as possible to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Their duties also include certain clerical tasks and related services.
Basic computer literacy and experience with laboratory information systems are preferred. Must demonstrate good patient manner and possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients.

Flexible Schedule:
- 4 – 10 hour shifts
- 5 – 8+ hour shifts with half day off per week
Daily contact with patients is expected. Work is performed in a laboratory environment.
Desired Education, Certifications and/or Experience
MLT
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Completed a 2-year program for Medical Laboratory Technician with an Associate’s Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
- Certified registry such as ASCP or equivalent.
MT/MLS
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.
- Certified registry such as ASCP or equivalent.
