Radiologic Technologist (RT) (Including Mammograms and Bone Densitometry) – Full Time

Position available as a RT in our fast-paced Clinic. This position is responsible for performing radiologic exams, scheduling appointments, and maintaining supplies and cleanliness in work area. The technician performs quality control and quality assurance testing and maintains accurate records of procedures performed.

Must have the ability to work effectively under stress and efficiently handle the daily fluctuations in patient volume. Utilizes various medical equipment (i.e., x-ray tube, table, upright bucky, control panel, PACS) and various office equipment as needed.

The RT position reports directly to the Ancillary Services Manager and works closely with other clinic staff to ensure appropriate customer service is given.

Daily contact with patients is expected. Work is performed in a clinic environment with potential for regular exposure to radiation during the x-ray process. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients. Requires walking, sitting, and standing for extensive periods of time throughout work shift. This position is full-time during the day, Monday – Friday with competitive wage and benefit package available.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent and at least an Associate Degree in Radiologic technology.

Licenses or Certifications:
WI Licensed Radiographer
ARRT or MQSA Certification in Mammography or Certification in Mammography must be completed by one year of employment.
ISCD CBDT Certification in Bone Densitometry must be completed by one year of employment.
